Rookie girl group SAY MY NAME is stepping onto the sports stage as they prepare for their first ever ceremonial pitch at a professional basketball game, marking another milestone in their fast growing career.
According to industry sources, SAY MY NAME will attend the 2025–26 KBL regular season game between Seoul SK Knights and Anyang Jung Kwan Jang on January 1 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. The appearance will mark the group’s debut ceremonial pitch since their official debut.

A New Challenge on a New Stage
Member Soha will represent the group by throwing the ceremonial first pitch, delivering a message of support and good luck to the Seoul SK Knights. For a rookie group, the invitation itself reflects rising public recognition beyond the music scene.
In addition to the ceremonial pitch, SAY MY NAME will also perform during halftime, bringing their signature energy to the basketball court and offering fans a special New Year’s performance. An agency representative shared, “We hope audiences at the venue can start the year with bright energy. SAY MY NAME is preparing a lively stage that reflects their youthful charm.”
Momentum Following Their Latest Comeback
The appearance comes shortly after SAY MY NAME’s return with their third EP ‘&Our Vibe,’ released on December 29. The album showcases the group’s evolving identity, blending playful confidence with a freer, more expressive musical direction. The title track ‘UFO’ has drawn attention for its upbeat sound and bold message, signaling the group’s determination to stand out and chart their own path.
Expanding Presence Beyond Music
From music releases to live performances and now sports events, SAY MY NAME continues to broaden their presence across different platforms. Their upcoming KBL appearance highlights the group’s growing appeal and hints at wider activities planned for the year ahead.
As they open 2026 with both a comeback and a high profile public appearance, expectations are rising for what SAY MY NAME will deliver next on stage and beyond.
