The tension is reaching its peak in tvN’s weekend drama Typhoon Family as Lee Junho, Kim Sang-ho, and Moo Jin-sung prepare for an intense showdown that will redefine the power dynamics within the company.
On October 24, the production team released new stills hinting at a full-scale corporate battle between Kang Tae-poong (Lee Junho) and Pyo Park-ho (Kim Sang-ho) along with his son Pyo Hyun-jun (Moo Jin-sung).

From Mentor to Rival
Earlier episodes showed Park-ho teaching Tae-poong that “you can’t learn without falling.” But in a cruel twist, he personally orchestrated Tae-poong’s downfall — smiling as he offered a warehouse on credit while hiding a devastating clause:
“After 72 hours, all stored fabric will be seized and destroyed.”
However, Tae-poong proved he’s no ordinary businessman. Using a clever unit conversion trick, he managed to return defective goods to Pyo’s company and resell 10% of his remaining stock at triple the price, turning his loss into profit.
His confident declaration — “If I keep falling and rising again, one day I’ll fly above you, sir” — marked the birth of a true corporate survivor in the cutthroat world of Typhoon Company.
A Father’s Shadow and a Hidden Agenda
After being outsmarted, Park-ho begins watching Tae-poong closely. His interest, however, goes deeper than competition. Before Tae-poong’s father, Kang Jin-young (Sung Dong-il), passed away, Park-ho visited his hospital room and ominously asked,
“I need to see your eyes to know… where are you?”
He even went so far as to tell Tae-poong, “Hand the company over to me.”
The true reason behind his obsession with the failing company remains unclear, suggesting motives that go far beyond business rivalry.
Hyun-jun’s Jealousy Ignites the War
Meanwhile, Park-ho’s son Pyo Hyun-jun adds fuel to the fire. Long envious of Tae-poong’s popularity since their youth, Hyun-jun was the very person who prevented Tae-poong from seeing his father’s final moments.
Even after Tae-poong’s fall, Hyun-jun mocked him — but his arrogance turns to insecurity when Tae-poong returns as the new CEO of Typhoon Company. The stage is now set for a three-way power war where betrayal and ambition collide.
A Corporate Battle Like No Other
With alliances shifting and secrets unraveling, Typhoon Company gears up for its fiercest chapter yet. Viewers are eager to see whether Kang Tae-poong will overcome the Pyo family’s schemes and reclaim his rightful place as the true leader.
The drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM KST on tvN.
