Xdinary Heroes has returned with their seventh mini-album, LXVE to DEATH, and the title track ICU, marking their first release in about seven months. The group shared an in-depth Q&A with fans on October 24, offering insights into the album’s concept and their creative process.

Seven Songs, Seven Perspectives on Love
The new album dives into the complexities of love, exploring desire, obsession, and emotional highs and lows. Including the title track ICU and last July’s digital single FiRE, LXVE to DEATH features seven tracks: Lost and Found, Ashes to Ashes, Spoiler!!!, Love Tug of War, and LOVE ME 2 DEATH, each representing a unique perspective on love.
Members described the album as a way to express feelings that are often hard to put into words. “Each track presents a different character’s view of love, which makes the album feel fresh and multidimensional,” they said. The project also marked their first time fully embracing the theme of love in all its forms.
Title Track “ICU”: Hard Rock Energy Meets Passion
ICU features explosive beats and guitar riffs reminiscent of ’80s hard rock. The unpredictable flow, soaring chorus, and high notes deliver a thrilling listening experience. Members Gunil and Gaon emphasized the intensity of the track, describing it as a song designed for performing with unrestrained energy on stage.
Live Performances and Global Milestones
Xdinary Heroes will cap off their ongoing Beautiful Mind world tour with a finale at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, a first for the group. They’ve also performed at major international and domestic festivals, including Lollapalooza Chicago, the MUSE Korea concert, and the 2025 Busan International Rock Festival. Members highlighted the thrill of performing for large audiences and the shared energy with fans, known as Villains.
Reflecting on 2025
The group reflected on the year as a period of growth and memorable experiences, noting that their world tour and live performances were standout moments. “We feel grateful for every opportunity to share our music and connect with Villains,” Junyeon said.
Xdinary Heroes concluded by expressing heartfelt thanks to their fans: “Your love and support have allowed us to grow. We promise to return that love with great music and performances,” Gunil stated.
