Not a Scandal, but a Story of Fate
What looked like a scandal turns out to be a haunting reunion between two people who never stopped loving each other.
Actor Park Seo-jun returns in the upcoming melodrama “Waiting for Kyung-do (Surely Tomorrow)”, premiering this December — a story where love and regret collide under the glare of public scandal.

When a Reporter Becomes the Story
Park plays Lee Kyung-do, the deputy editor at Dong-woon Daily’s entertainment desk — a sharp yet kind-hearted journalist who accidentally becomes part of his own breaking news.
After exposing a high-profile cheating scandal involving a chaebol heir and a celebrity, Kyung-do realizes the man in the headline is his ex-girlfriend’s husband.
His first love, Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an), is now the betrayed wife — and his article has just destroyed her marriage. What follows is an emotional story about guilt, forgiveness, and love that refuses to fade.
A “Transit Love”-Style Twist
To tease the drama, the production released an “ex-girlfriend profile” written from Ji-woo’s point of view — describing Kyung-do as her “savior.”
The unexpected angle, reminiscent of the dating show Transit Love (환승연애), has gone viral online for its bittersweet tone and fresh storytelling approach.
Park Seo-jun’s Emotional Transformation
Park Seo-jun is set to deliver one of his most mature performances yet, portraying the passage of nearly two decades through delicate emotional range — from an idealistic young man to a weary journalist haunted by his choices.
Fans are already praising the teaser stills for his subtle expressions and the chemistry with Won Ji-an.
Premiere Details
“Waiting for Kyung-do” is written by Yoo Young-ah (Miracle in Cell No. 7), directed by Lim Hyun-wook, and produced by SLL, I&N, and Geulmoe Studio.
The drama premieres December 2025.
