Actor Jung Hae-in has been recognized for his continued acts of kindness and social contribution, receiving the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the 10th Finance Day Ceremony held in Seoul’s Yeouido district on October 28.
The Finance Day event celebrates individuals and organizations who have contributed to financial development and community service in South Korea. This year, Jung Hae-in was honored not for his acting, but for his philanthropic efforts and volunteer leadership.
According to his agency FNC Entertainment, Jung was recognized for leading charitable projects such as support for children awaiting adoption, Love Fruit fundraising campaigns, and his role as the head of the Happiness Sharing Volunteer Group, where he actively promotes community service and donations alongside his fans.
In his acceptance speech, Jung expressed gratitude for the shared efforts behind the recognition:
“It’s especially meaningful because I was able to receive this award thanks to the good deeds I’ve done together with my fans,” he said. “I’ll continue to share messages of giving and strive to spread positive influence.”
