The global success of the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters continues to grow — its soundtrack has achieved an extraordinary Billboard record, proving the worldwide power of K-pop music.
According to Billboard (October 28, local time), eight songs from the movie’s official soundtrack have remained on the Hot 100 chart for 16 consecutive weeks, maintaining simultaneous entries despite strong competition from pop megastar Taylor Swift, who continues to dominate both major Billboard charts.
16 Weeks, 8 Songs, 1 Phenomenon
Leading the pack is “Golden” by the film’s fictional girl group Huntrix, which climbed to No. 2 on the Hot 100 after spending seven consecutive weeks at No. 1.
Performed by Korean-American artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rae Ami, “Golden” has now held the top spot for a total of eight non-consecutive weeks.
Other tracks from K-Pop Demon Hunters also remain strong on the charts:

The K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack holds No. 2 on the Billboard 200 for the 12th week in a row.
Meanwhile, “Golden” reclaimed No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.
TWICE continues their success with their 14th mini-album “Strategy” — also featured in the film — staying on the Hot 100 for 14 weeks. Their full album “This Is For” remains on the Billboard 200 at No. 166, marking 15 weeks on the chart.
New Entries from NMIX, Stray Kids, and KATSEYE
Rising girl group NMIX entered the Billboard 200 at No. 177 with their first full album “Blue Valentine” — their third appearance on the chart. The title track ranked No. 78 on the Global 200 and No. 43 on the Global Excl. U.S., both career highs for the group.
Stray Kids maintained momentum as their fourth studio album “Karma” reached its ninth week on the Billboard 200 at No. 82.
HYBE × Geffen’s global group KATSEYE continued strong with “Beautiful Chaos” ranking No. 34 on the Billboard 200, while their tracks “Gabriella” (No. 40) and “Gnarly” (No. 97) both improved positions.
At the top, Taylor Swift remains undefeated — her 12th studio album “The Life of a Showgirl” spends a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with its title track “The Fate of Ophelia” holding the top spot on the Hot 100 for three straight weeks.
