BTS’s Jimin has made history once again. His solo track “Like Crazy” has officially surpassed 1.4 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first Korean-language solo song ever to achieve the milestone.
According to Spotify’s latest update on October 26 (KST), “Like Crazy” exceeded 1.4 billion streams on the world’s largest music streaming platform, setting an unprecedented record for Korean solo artists.

The song also broke another record by becoming the fastest Korean-language song to reach 1.4 billion streams on Spotify — surpassing BTS’s previous milestone track, “My Universe.”
With this achievement, Jimin now holds two songs with over 1.4 billion streams on Spotify — “Who,” the title track from his second solo album MUSE (which has surpassed 2.087 billion streams), and “Like Crazy.” This makes him the first and only Korean solo artist to hold two such records, and alongside BTS, the only K-pop act overall to reach this level.
Co-written and co-composed by Jimin himself, “Like Crazy” has continued to perform strongly across global platforms. The official music video has surpassed 174 million views on YouTube, while the song has also recorded over 1 million searches on Shazam and more than 129 million streams on Melon, proving its enduring popularity both in Korea and abroad.
Jimin’s success once again underscores his growing influence as a solo artist and his role in expanding the global reach of Korean-language music.
Editor’s Insight: The “Pure Solo” King
There’s a specific kind of magic in the way Jimin has handled his solo career. While many artists look for high-profile Western features to bolster their numbers, Jimin has largely let his own voice literally do the work. Reaching 1.4 billion streams with a Korean-language solo is a massive “Trust Signal” to the industry. It says that the language barrier is officially dead.
