On November 3, SM Entertainment officially announced the group’s comeback. “RIIZE will release their new digital single ‘FAME’ through major streaming platforms on November 24,” the agency stated.
The upcoming release marks RIIZE’s second single, following their debut hit “Get a Guitar.” It also comes about six months after the group’s first full-length album “ODYSSEY.”
A Story Beneath the Spotlight
‘FAME’ delves into the hidden side of growth and recognition the vulnerability and unease that coexist with success. The single album features three tracks, including the title track of the same name, blending emotional storytelling with RIIZE’s signature pop sensibility.
In the accompanying trailer video, the members are seen wandering through a grand London mansion, each lost in thought. The cinematic imagery and haunting sound design suggest a narrative of reflection and inner conflict a side of RIIZE fans haven’t seen before.
Global Momentum and Musical Evolution
RIIZE continues to solidify their place as one of K-pop’s fastest-rising groups. Their debut album “ODYSSEY” made them three-time million sellers, topping the Circle Monthly Retail Album Chart. The album also reached No. 1 on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Overseas Album Chart, earned a Gold certification from Japan’s Recording Industry Association, and ranked first on China’s QQ Music Digital Album Chart.
