Miyeon is stepping into a new artistic chapter. The I-DLE vocalist has released her second mini album “MY, Lover,” marking her long-awaited solo comeback.

A Busy Year, and a Heart Full of Gratitude
2025 has been a whirlwind for Miyeon. Between I-DLE promotions, a Japanese album release, an overseas tour, and constant fan communication through her YouTube channel, she barely had a break. Yet, she described it all as “a happy kind of busy.” “I never imagined I’d receive this much love since debut,” she said. “I just wanted to live every day with gratitude and do my best.” Her showcase was held on November 3 at Bluesquare SOL Travel Hall in Seoul, celebrating the release of her new mini album ‘MY, Lover.’
Seven Songs, Seven Shades of Love
‘MY, Lover’ captures the many emotional stages of love from longing and regret to hope, healing, and devotion. “I didn’t plan for it to be about love,” Miyeon explained. “I just wanted to express deep emotions, and it naturally became a love story.”
The album features seven tracks, including “Say My Name,” “Reno” (feat. Colde), “F.F.L.Y,” “Space Invader,” “You and No One Else,” “Petal Shower,” and “Show.”
Miyeon participated in lyric writing and overall production, strengthening her place as a singer-songwriter. “Each song holds a different shape of love,” she said. “I wanted listeners to find pieces of themselves in these emotions.”

‘Say My Name’ Miyeon’s Signature Pop Ballad
The title track, “Say My Name,” is a pop ballad built around soft piano melodies and rhythmic beats. Miyeon’s controlled yet expressive voice delivers the ache of love that remains after goodbye. “I wanted to stop hiding behind perfection,” she shared. “This time, I wanted to show my true self as I am.” During the showcase, she performed the song sitting onstage, surrounded by dancers, blending calm and emotional power.
A Bold Edge in ‘Reno’
The pre-release track “Reno” (feat. Colde) offers a darker side of Miyeon exploring how love turns to obsession.“ It felt intense at first,” she admitted. “But I wanted to show that I can handle something strong and emotional, even on my own.” The song’s tension, paired with Colde’s vocals, highlights her range as both a vocalist and performer.
Miyeon’s Message: Growth and Gratitude
Miyeon confessed that preparing this album came with pressure, but also pride. “I told myself, I’ve worked hard and grown a lot that gave me courage,” she said. She closed the showcase by thanking her fans: “I hope Neverland can just enjoy the music this time. Thank you for believing in me. I love you all.”
