Actor Han Hyo-joo is stepping into the world of science and technology as the narrator of KBS-1TV’s upcoming special documentary Transhuman, a three-episode project premiering on November 12.
KBS confirmed on the 4th that Han will guide viewers through a deep dive into next-generation innovations spanning ergonomics, brain engineering, and genetic science. Each episode focuses on how these cutting-edge fields are reshaping human life and redefining what it means to be “human.”

The series is divided into three themes — Cyborgs, Brain Implants, and The Genetic Revolution. With her calm yet captivating voice, Han aims to bring emotional depth and clarity to complex topics.
At the heart of Transhuman lies a central question: as machines and humans become increasingly intertwined, can we still claim ownership of our own bodies and identities? The documentary invites audiences to reflect on the ethical and emotional dimensions of a rapidly approaching future.
The program will air every Wednesday at 10 p.m. for three weeks beginning November 12 on KBS-1TV.
