South Korean rock band CNBLUE has returned with a new Japanese single that captures the allure of mystery and passion.

“Shintouya”: A Night That Steals the Heart
FNC Entertainment announced on November 5 that CNBLUE has officially released their 15th Japanese single, “Shintouya” (心盗夜), across major music platforms. The title translates roughly to “A Night That Steals the Heart,” symbolizing emotional temptation and irresistible charm.
Following their previous hit “Hymn of Life” (人生讃歌), the group continues their streak of poetic Japanese titles. The new track blends sophisticated rock elements with jazzy undertones, creating a captivating, almost cinematic soundscape.
Jazz Meets Rock: CNBLUE’s New Sonic Palette
“Shintouya” tells the story of a man with dual emotions a cold-hearted thief and a passionate lover. The contrast is expressed through the song’s elegant instrumentation and dynamic rhythm. The band’s performance highlights their growth as musicians, offering a balance between intensity and refinement.
The single album includes three new tracks, each revealing a different shade of CNBLUE’s emotional depth. Members Yonghwa, Minhyuk, and Jungshin actively participated in songwriting and composition, infusing their personal artistry into the record. “We wanted to explore the emotional duality of desire and restraint,” Yonghwa shared through FNC. “It’s a song that pulls you in, just like the title suggests.”
Live Performances and Fan Connection
To celebrate the release, CNBLUE will embark on the ‘2025 CNBLUE Autumn Live in Japan – Shintouya’ tour beginning November 15. The concerts will highlight their new material alongside fan-favorite hits, reaffirming their strong bond with Japanese fans built over more than a decade.
“Shintouya” marks a continuation of CNBLUE’s evolution — a sophisticated mix of lyrical storytelling, musical maturity, and emotional honesty that solidifies their status as one of K-pop’s most enduring bands.
