Super Junior’s Eunhyuk marked the group’s 20th debut anniversary with a meaningful act of kindness donating to children in need together with his fans.
On November 6, the child-welfare organization Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation announced that Eunhyuk had made a special anniversary donation under both his and his fandom’s names to support family-care children minors who look after ill or disabled family members.
To commemorate November 6, 2005, the date of Super Junior’s official debut, Eunhyuk donated ₩20.05 million in his own name and ₩11.06 million on behalf of ELF (Ever Lasting Friends), the group’s fan club. The total will be used to help 116 children nationwide who face difficult caregiving responsibilities at home.
A Long-Term Commitment to Giving Back
This is far from Eunhyuk’s first contribution. Since 2021, he has consistently supported the family-care children program and, in 2024, became the 487th member of Green Umbrella’s “Green Noble Club,” an association of donors who have contributed more than ₩100 million.
Including this latest donation, Eunhyuk’s cumulative giving now exceeds ₩277 million (≈ US $200,000).
Eunhyuk shared in a statement,
“Thanks to all the love and encouragement from fans over the years, I’m grateful to take part in this act of sharing. I’ll keep working to spread positive influence and return the love I’ve received.”
