ENHYPEN have set a new personal record in Japan, proving their immense popularity in the country’s music scene. The group’s fourth Japanese single ‘YOI (宵)’ has officially earned a Triple Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

A Major Milestone in Japan
On November 12, the RIAJ announced its latest batch of certified records, confirming ENHYPEN’s achievement. The Triple Platinum title is awarded to albums or singles that have shipped over 750,000 copies.
‘YOI,’ released three months ago, surpassed that threshold to claim the group’s first-ever Triple Platinum status. This marks a significant milestone in ENHYPEN’s Japanese discography, signaling the group’s rapid and continued growth abroad.
The single initially earned Double Platinum certification shortly after release, having already surpassed 500,000 units in just three days. Its first-week sales reached half a million, making it ENHYPEN’s first Japanese “half-million seller.”
Dominating Japanese Charts
Upon release, ‘YOI’ swept the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts, ranking at the top in both physical and digital sales categories. The track’s moody, introspective concept—combining Japanese lyrics with ENHYPEN’s signature dark-pop aesthetic—resonated deeply with local listeners. With this new certification, ENHYPEN now hold 15 Gold Disc certifications in Japan, including: 1 Triple Platinum album, 2 Double Platinum albums, 6 Platinum albums and multiple Gold-certified releases.
Their consistent record-breaking streak underscores ENHYPEN’s expanding fanbase and powerful sales performance within the competitive Japanese market.
Continuing the Celebration
To cap off an already monumental year, ENHYPEN will host a special fan event titled “ENniversary Night” on November 22 at Lotte World Adventure in Seoul’s Songpa District. The event commemorates the group’s 5th debut anniversary, promising a festive evening filled with performances and heartfelt moments. “We’re deeply grateful for the love and support from our fans,” the group shared through their agency. “Achievements like this are only possible because of ENGENEs around the world.”
With ‘YOI,’ ENHYPEN continue to strengthen their position as one of K-pop’s most influential global acts blending artistry, emotional depth, and international appeal.
Editor’s Insight
What makes this achievement important is not just the number, but what it represents.
Japan is one of the most stable and competitive music markets in the world. Success there is rarely accidental and even harder to sustain.
ENHYPEN’s YOI shows that they are not just entering the market. They are building a lasting presence.
If this trajectory continues, Japan may become one of the strongest pillars in their global career not just a side expansion, but a core market.
And that shift could define the next phase of ENHYPEN’s growth.
