On November 13, BELIFT LAB announced that the group has released a new project track, “Mistletoe,” exclusively through Apple Music as part of the platform’s annual 2025 Carols Covered campaign

Apple Music’s Carols Covered is a yearly tradition where global artists reinterpret classic carols and holiday hits. This year, ENHYPEN are the only K-pop act selected to participate, a testament to their expanding global influence and musical credibility.
Their chosen track, “Mistletoe,” was originally released by Justin Bieber in 2011. The song became a massive seasonal hit, landing high on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning over 500 million views on YouTube.

While the original carried a bright, festive pop energy, ENHYPEN’s version leans into a more tender and romantic mood, layered with the group’s signature vocal color.
The members explained that “Mistletoe” holds personal meaning: “This is a song we always listen to at the end of the year,” Jungwon shared. “The sweet lyrics remind us of how ENGENEs look at us with warmth and love.” Jay added that the track is tied to memories from childhood: “I grew up listening to Justin Bieber. It felt natural for us to deliver that holiday feeling to fans.”

In an accompanying Q&A, the members reflected on personal holiday experiences: Jake revealed that Justin Bieber’s music shaped much of his youth. Sunoo recalled warm family nights with cake and wine.
