Actor and singer Lee Seung-gi has gifted his parents a 26-billion-won townhouse, according to industry reports on November 20.

A Luxury Home Gifted After 10 Years

Records show that Lee Seung-gi transferred ownership of the property on August 1, giving the townhouse—located in Shinhyeon-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province—to his parents.

Lee originally purchased the home in 2016 for approximately 1.34 billion KRW, meaning the property has nearly doubled in value.
The townhouse sits on 416㎡ of land (approx. 126 pyeong) with a basement and one above-ground floor, totaling 289㎡ of living space (87 pyeong).
A unit of the same size in the same complex was recently sold for 2.6 billion KRW in July, highlighting its prime market value.

Lee Seung-gi’s Current Real Estate

Lee married actress Lee Da-in in 2023 and welcomed a daughter in early 2024. The couple currently lives in Lanubo Hannam, a luxury villa in Hannam-dong, with a 105-billion-won lease deposit.

In 2023, Lee also purchased land in Jangchung-dong for 9.4 billion KRW, where he is reportedly building a new private residence.

Family Issues and Public Statement

Earlier this year, Lee made headlines after publicly distancing himself from issues involving his father-in-law, who faced charges related to stock price manipulation.
At the time, Lee apologized and stated that he and his wife had chosen to “cut ties” with her family to prevent further harm to victims.

Continuing His Career

Lee Seung-gi remains active in entertainment, philanthropy, and public service. In January, he attended his appointment ceremony as a Red Cross ambassador, continuing his longstanding involvement in charity and public advocacy.
