Actor Song Kang is officially back and fans are loving the return of Korea’s “face genius.”
On November 21, Esquire Korea unveiled its December issue featuring Song Kang on the cover. Recently named the new ambassador of a luxury fashion brand, Song Kang showcased the brand’s 2026 Spring/Summer pre-collection, pairing soft winter moods with his signature sharp visuals.
The result? A refined, mature pictorial that instantly drew attention.

“The military changed me more than I expected”
Song Kang completed his duty in October and opened up about his time away during the accompanying interview.
Recognized as a “Special Class Warrior” during his service, he explained how military life helped him grow emotionally:
“Meeting so many different types of people in the army made me relax more. I think I worry a lot less about people watching me or judging me.”
He shared that the military helped him find balance — something he struggled with before enlisting.

Looking back at his past and preparing for what’s next
Song Kang reflected on his pre-enlistment career, saying:
“I truly worked hard. I’m satisfied with the effort I put in. If I hadn’t studied before enlisting or kept a journal during service, I don’t think I would feel this fulfilled.”
This period of self-reflection has shaped how he plans to move forward in his acting journey.
A highly anticipated comeback
With his full discharge behind him, Song Kang is now preparing for future projects — and excitement is already building. After two years away from screens, his return marks the beginning of a new chapter both as an actor and as a public figure.
Song Kang’s next steps are now one of the most-watched stories in K-entertainment.
