Singer-actor Lee Seung-gi opened up about married life during his latest appearance on the YouTube show “A Normal Thursday Night with Cho Hyun-ah.” The episode, released on November 20, featured Lee Seung-gi as a guest shortly after the release of his new digital single “I’ll Be by Your Side.”
When Cho Hyun-ah asked what fans were most curious about — how his life has changed after marriage — Lee Seung-gi didn’t hesitate.
“I strongly recommend marriage”
Lee Seung-gi shared that he always imagined himself getting married in his late 30s.
“I really, really recommend marriage,” he said.
“I had an idea of when I’d want to get married — somewhere between 36 and 39.”
He explained that marriage allowed him to understand life outside of his celebrity identity.
“For the first time, I’m living as myself — Lee Seung-gi the person — while keeping my job as an entertainer separate,” he said.
“After experiencing it, I can confidently say I highly recommend getting married.”
