SEVENTEEN has officially made history. The group appeared on NPR Music’s iconic Tiny Desk Concert series, becoming the first K-pop group ever to perform a full Tiny Desk session inside NPR’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
On November 24 (local time), members Joshua, Mingyu, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino delivered a powerful 30-minute set, now available on the NPR Music YouTube channel under SEVENTEEN: Tiny Desk Concert.

A stage shared with giants — now featuring SEVENTEEN
Tiny Desk is known for its intimate, music-focused live format, previously hosting global superstars like Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter. SEVENTEEN’s appearance marks a major milestone not only for the group, but also for K-pop’s cultural impact in the U.S.
A decade of hits packed into one acoustic space
SEVENTEEN opened with their viral mega-hit “Super” and continued with a setlist covering 10 years of their musical journey. Fans were treated to a rich mix of genres and moods, including:
- “Clap”
- “HOT”
- “SOS”
- “_WORLD”
- “Darl+ing”
- “Rock with you”
- “Whirlwind”
The rearranged live band sound highlighted their versatility, blending high-energy performance with emotional vocals in a uniquely raw setting.
Live vocals, playful interactions, and concert-level fan energy
Despite performing inside an office, the members brought full arena energy. Their relaxed charisma, spontaneous rhythm, and flawlessly stable live vocals captured the essence of what fans call “SEVENTEEN’s performance power.”
In true SEVENTEEN fashion, they even took live fan requests—singing “HBD” for the audience—showing the wit and ease of a seasoned group 11 years into their career.
Audience members filled the room with cheers, fan chants, and glowing Carat Bongs, transforming the NPR office into what felt like a mini-concert hall.
The performance ended with their signature encore anthem “Aju Nice,” sending the studio into a frenzy of clapping, shouting, and dancing.
“We never imagined this kind of reaction”
After the show, SEVENTEEN shared their excitement:
“We’ve always loved watching Tiny Desk, so being here feels incredible.
We expected a calm, quiet atmosphere since it’s an office…
but this was a real concert. We never imagined the reaction would be like this.”
With their historic Tiny Desk debut, SEVENTEEN once again proves why they remain one of the world’s most dynamic performers.
