The upcoming Korean remake of the beloved Japanese romance novel is finally hitting theaters and it’s arriving on the most emotional day of the year. Choo Young Woo and Shin Sia are set to deliver a touching youth melodrama with “This Love Might Disappear Tonight”, officially confirmed for a December 24, Christmas Eve premiere.

A Tender Romance Reimagined
On November 25, the production team unveiled the film’s first poster and teaser trailer, signaling the arrival of a deeply emotional winter release.
The movie is based on the bestselling Japanese romance novel of the same name. The story follows Seo Yoon (played by Shin Sia), a girl who loses her memory every time she falls asleep, and Jae Won (Choo Young Woo), the boy who chooses to love her anew each day. As her memories reset, he fills her world again repeating introductions, recreating moments, and quietly protecting her in ways she may never remember.
A Poster That Says Everything
The first poster captures a soft, sorrowful moment between the two leads, standing face-to-face under warm light. The tagline “I’ll love you again tomorrow” encapsulates Jae Won’s quiet determination and the bittersweet condition that defines their relationship. Meanwhile, the teaser trailer highlights their gentle beginnings, playful interactions, and the fragile beauty of memories that may fade but never truly disappear in the heart.
A Director With Rising Global Recognitio
The film is directed by Kim Hye Young, whose previous work earned her the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Director. Kim also made her feature film debut at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, where she won a Crystal Bear in the Generation Kplus section an early sign of her storytelling power.
With breakout star Choo Young Woo and rising actress Shin Sia leading the way, expectations are high for a romance that balances warmth, longing, and youthful sincerity.
