BTS’s Jungkook has made history once again this time as the first artist to launch Rolling Stone’s new multinational project spanning Korea, the UK, and Japan.
On December 9, Big Hit Music revealed Jungkook’s exclusive cover images for Rolling Stone, announcing that the singer is the inaugural face of the magazine’s first-ever three-country collaborative project. The ambitious initiative marks the first time in Rolling Stone’s history that the Korea, UK, and Japan editions have joined forces for a single artist.

A Historic First for a Korean Solo Artist
Jungkook graces the cover of Rolling Stone Korea, Rolling Stone UK, and Rolling Stone Japan, making him the first Korean solo artist ever to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone UK.
His influence extends beyond print — Jungkook simultaneously fronts the digital covers of Rolling Stone U.S., France, India, the Philippines, and China, dominating a total of eight global editions at once.
Inside the magazines, fans can find an in-depth interview where Jungkook reflects on his journey, artistic direction, and the vision guiding his next chapter.
Jungkook on His Next Era: “I want to be an artist who creates the flow.”
In the interview, Jungkook says:
“This is a time of new beginnings. I’m trying new things and continuing to evolve.
I want to show all the different sides within me — not follow the flow, but create it.
I want to become a limitless artist.”

Another Record: 10 Billion Streams on Spotify
Jungkook recently surpassed 10 billion cumulative Spotify streams, becoming the first Korean solo artist in history to reach the milestone.
His mega-hit single “Seven (feat. Latto)” also exceeded 2.6 billion streams, the highest ever for a Korean artist’s single track.
As Jungkook begins his next chapter, his impact as a global pop icon continues to expand across music, media, and now the pages of Rolling Stone around the world.
