Two Korean productions — Park Chan-wook’s film No other Choice and the animated feature K-Pop Demon Hunters — have officially been nominated for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, marking another major milestone for Korean cinema and K-content on the global stage.
The Golden Globes announced all nominees on December 8 (KST) via their official website, revealing contenders across 28 categories.
No other Choice Scores Multiple Nominations
Park Chan-wook’s No other Choice earned nominations in two major categories:
- Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy
Competing against Blue Moon, Bugonia, Marty Supreme, Nouvelle Vague, and One Battle After Another. - Best Non-English Language Film
Nominated alongside It Was Only an Accident, Sentimental Value, Silat, and others.
Additionally, actor Lee Byung-hun secured a nomination for:
- Best Actor – Musical or Comedy
He will be competing with global stars including Ethan Hawke, George Clooney, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Earns Three Nominations
The animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, also claimed a strong presence at the Golden Globes with three nominations:
