Film company ZIP Studio known for acclaimed works like Broker, Woochi, and The Black Nun is officially expanding into drama production. Their first project is MBC’s upcoming thriller Liar, a high profile series that reunites Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin for the first time in eight years.
Kakao Entertainment announced on December 11 that it will co-produce Liar alongside ZIP Studio, marking a significant move as the company strengthens its multi-studio system and expands its reach in scripted content.

Liar, written by Baek Jae Joung and directed by Cho Young Min (Eunjong and Sangyeon), centers on a man and a woman who share a single memory yet claim completely opposite truths.
