Netflix’s hit animated film “K-Pop Demon Hunters” (케데헌) has earned unexpected global recognition as Forbes named the creative women behind the project to its prestigious list of the “100 Most Powerful Women” of 2025.
Forbes highlights the creative force behind ‘Huntress’
On December 10 (local time), Forbes released its 22nd annual list spotlighting “women shaping the world at this moment.”
Among political leaders, CEOs, and cultural figures, the magazine included the female creators and performers behind Huntress, the girl-group protagonists of K-Pop Demon Hunters.

The group recognized under the team includes:
- EJAE
- Audrey Nuna
- Rei Ami
- Co-director Maggie Kang, among others
Forbes evaluated influence based on money, media presence, global reach, and cultural impact across six industries including business, entertainment, tech, and finance.
Labeling the creators as “cultural innovators,” Forbes wrote:
“K-Pop Demon Hunters became one of the defining cultural phenomena of the year, energizing the global zeitgeist and uniting audiences around the world.”

Other Korean women on the list include:
- Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla (No. 90)
