BIGBANG’s Daesung delivered a heartwarming moment on television by spending a day helping seniors in a remote mountain village, showing what many viewers called “love beyond limits.”
On December 15, KBS1’s long-running program 6 O’Clock, My Hometown aired an episode set in Yeongwol County, Gangwon Province, featuring Daesung alongside comedian and youth leader Son Heon-su. The two arrived in a supply truck, traveling through winding mountain roads to reach villages with limited transportation access.

As winter made it difficult for mobile vendors to operate, Daesung and Son stepped in to help run a traveling general-goods truck, selling and delivering daily necessities directly to elderly residents. Locals expressed their gratitude, saying it meant a lot not having to travel far into town for basic items.
Daesung didn’t stop there. He joined villagers in hands-on work, including helping package beans, and later made his way to the village community center, where he was greeted with enthusiastic cheers from the seniors.
One of the most touching moments came when Daesung visited an elderly resident living alone after losing her husband. He helped replace light bulbs in her home, quietly giving back the warmth he had received throughout the day.
The appearance highlighted a different side of the singer, earning praise for his sincerity and down-to-earth attitude.
Meanwhile, Daesung recently released his new single HANDO-CHOGUA on December 10. The song marks a trot-style release, showcasing his energetic vocal style and expressive performance, adding another chapter to his evolving musical journey.
