ILLIT Drops ‘Not Cute Anymore’ Holiday Remix Album, Bringing Festive Year End Vibes

ILLIT is wrapping up the year with a festive twist, reintroducing their hit title track ‘Not Cute Anymore’ in a variety of holiday-inspired sounds.

According to HYBE Music Group label BELIFT LAB, ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha) will release their remix album ‘Not Cute Anymore (Holiday Remixes)’ on December 19 at 2 p.m. KST across major streaming platforms. The album features a total of seven tracks, offering listeners a fresh, seasonally themed take on the original song.

A Holiday Makeover for a Hit Track

The remix album includes the original version of ‘Not Cute Anymore’ alongside two newly arranged tracks: ‘Holiday Party ver.’ and ‘Holiday Night ver.’ Each version adds a distinct year-end mood, transforming the song into something fitting for winter celebrations.

The ‘Holiday Party ver.’ infuses the track with bright, lively sounds and an upbeat rhythm, capturing the excitement and warmth of snowy winter gatherings. In contrast, the ‘Holiday Night ver.’ leans into a softer atmosphere, blending piano melodies with gentle bell sounds to evoke the cozy feeling of a winter fairytale.

Designed for Global Listening Trends

To further expand its appeal, the album also includes three ‘Sped Up’ versions of the track, along with an instrumental. The sped up versions played at approximately 1.3x speed are expected to gain traction on global short form platforms. In fact, one of these versions has already been adopted as background music for the trending ‘Hood Job Shot’ challenge, popular among Gen Z listeners. The song’s addictive melody, combined with meme-friendly edits, is fueling renewed viral momentum.

Original Song Still Going Strong

The success of the original ‘Not Cute Anymore’ continues unabated. Now in its fourth week since release, the track has topped Apple Music Korea’s ‘Today’s Top 100’ for 11 consecutive days (as of December 17) and climbed to No. 21 on Melon’s Top 100 chart (as of December 18). Building on this momentum, ILLIT claimed first place on MBC M’s ‘Show! Champion’ on December 17, securing their second music show win for the song.

Ending the Year on a High Note

With ‘Not Cute Anymore (Holiday Remixes)’, ILLIT showcases both versatility and strong awareness of global listening trends balancing festive warmth with viral-ready production. As the group continues to enjoy chart success and growing recognition, the holiday remix release positions ILLIT as one of the standout rookie acts closing out 2025 on a high note.
