A 3.5-Hour Celebration With Fans

SEVENTEEN delivered an expansive three and a half hour setlist, featuring tracks from their 5th full-length album, including the title song ‘THUNDER,’ as well as Japanese original releases and individual solo stages. The carefully curated performances highlighted both the group’s musical evolution and each member’s distinct charm.

Addressing the audience, the members expressed heartfelt gratitude.
“Thank you for filling this venue,” they said. “It truly felt like we’re sharing our youth together. We want to continue growing alongside you.” They also touched on their hope to reunite fully on stage. “We’re looking forward to the day when all 13 of us can stand together again,” they added. “Until then, we’ll keep running forward with everything we have.”

420,000 Fans Across Japan’s Biggest Domes

The Japan dome tour began on November 27 and spanned four major dome cities Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Tokyo Dome, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome. Across these venues, SEVENTEEN attracted a cumulative audience of 420,000 fans, reaffirming their status as one of the most powerful touring acts in K-pop.

Beyond Concerts: A City-Wide Fan Experience

In addition to the concerts, SEVENTEEN expanded the tour experience through a variety of offline fan events. Collaborations with local landmarks, large-scale buildings, and food and beverage brands were launched, along with the immersive fan festival ‘CARAT BUNKASAI,’ transforming entire cities into celebration spaces for fans.

The tour’s excitement also reached beyond Japan. The Nagoya concert was broadcast via live viewing in 54 countries, while the Osaka and Fukuoka shows were simultaneously offered through online live streaming, allowing global fans to join the moment in real time.

Continuing a Strong 2025

Following the successful Japan tour, SEVENTEEN continues to mark a standout year. The group was recently selected for ‘Millions Top 10’ at the 2025 Melon Music Awards, further underscoring their strong album performance and sustained popularity.

Editor’s Insight

The conclusion of SEVENTEEN’s “NEW_ IN JAPAN” dome tour isn’t just a win for the books—it’s a massive statement of resilience. Mobilizing 420,000 fans across four major domes is an elite-tier achievement, but what makes this specific tour hit different is the context of 2026. With the group currently operating in a “staggered” lineup due to military enlistments, the 3.5-hour marathon shows at Fukuoka PayPay Dome felt less like a standard concert and more like a collective promise to wait.
