A Hidden Christmas Café in Seoul That Feels Like Stepping Into Santa’s House

We recently stumbled upon a Christmas-themed café tucked away in a lesser-known neighborhood of Seoul, and it instantly became one of our favorite holiday finds this season.

Located in Gangseo-gu, this quiet, almost hidden spot surprises visitors the moment they step inside. From the outside, it feels like an ordinary neighborhood café but once you enter, it’s as if you’ve discovered Santa’s secret house.

A Cozy Space Straight Out of a Christmas Cartoon

The café is filled with warm holiday lights, festive decorations, and adorable Christmas items that look like they were pulled straight from an animated Christmas movie. The cozy atmosphere immediately makes you feel relaxed, safe, and festive — the kind of place where you want to slow down and enjoy the season.

Adding to the charm, some of the Christmas decorations are available for purchase, making it a perfect spot if you’re looking for unique holiday gifts or souvenirs.

The overall vibe truly feels like being inside Santa’s toy factory, with playful details everywhere you look.

Seasonal Menu You Can’t Resist

The menu fully embraces the winter season, offering Christmas and winter-inspired drinks and desserts. From warm beverages to festive sweets, everything feels thoughtfully curated for the holidays.

We couldn’t resist trying their matcha tiramisu, which was beautifully decorated to match the Christmas theme. Not only did it look adorable, but it was also rich, creamy, and perfect for the cold weather.

Perfect for Photos and a Relaxing Visit

One of the biggest surprises was how spacious the café is. There’s plenty of room to sit comfortably and even more space for taking cute, cozy photos whether you’re visiting solo, with friends, or on a casual winter date.

If you’re looking for a unique Christmas café in Seoul that’s not overcrowded or widely known, this spot is absolutely worth saving for your next trip.

What makes Another Side stand out in a city full of flashy pop-ups is its sheer scale. While many “Instagrammable” cafes in areas like Seongsu or Yeonnam-dong are notoriously cramped, this Gangseo-gu spot offers a massive, multi-zone experience. The “Santa’s House” vibe you felt is part of their meticulously planned “Santa Village” concept, which features a giant teddy bear and a miniature indoor forest draped in thousands of fairy lights. It’s a rare place in Seoul where the festive atmosphere doesn’t feel like a temporary backdrop, but a fully immersive world.

From a foodie perspective, their matcha tiramisu and strawberry whipped cream croffle cakes have become the “it-desserts” of early 2026. The matcha tiramisu, specifically, has been praised for its “Christmas tree” presentation, perfectly balancing the earthy bitterness of the green tea with the holiday sweetness.

If you’re planning a return visit, keep in mind that while it was a “hidden gem” in December, its viral success on social media means it’s now a favorite for winter dates. The best time to visit is on a weekday morning (they open at 9:00 AM) to catch that quiet, magical “Santa’s factory” feeling before the afternoon crowds arrive. Whether you’re there for the aesthetics or the tiramisu, Another Side is proof that the best Christmas magic is often found just a few stops away from the city center.
