Siyeon of Dreamcatcher is stepping into a new chapter of her career with the formation of a co-ed rock band, marking a significant expansion of her musical identity.
According to her agency, Siyeon has teamed up with bassist Lee Jun-young, drummer Je Gwan-woo, and producer-guitarist Lee Won-seok to form ChRocktikal, a band built around sharp sound, strong intent, and uncompromising musical direction.

A Band Name with a Message
The name ChRocktikal combines multiple ideas: the sleek precision of “Chrome,” the raw energy of “Rock,” and the blade-like symbolism of “KAL,” representing decisiveness and a straight-ahead attitude. Together, the name reflects the band’s goal to deliver bold, stripped-down rock music with a clear identity.
Siyeon Steps Forward as Producer and Vocalist
In this project, Siyeon takes on a central role not only as lead vocalist but also as a producer, signaling a shift from performer to creative architect. Through ChRocktikal, she aims to showcase the musical experience and technical growth she has built over the years, expanding beyond her work within Dreamcatcher.
“I think this project allows me to show everything I’ve learned so far,” Siyeon shared in a recently released interview. “Under the name ChRocktikal, we want to create music that’s fun, distinctive, and truly our own.”

Building Anticipation Ahead of Official Releases
Ahead of their official debut activities, ChRocktikal has begun rolling out promotional content through social media, including logo motion videos and individual member interviews. These early releases highlight each member’s musical background while teasing the band’s overall sound and direction.
Fans and rock listeners alike are now watching closely as Siyeon prepares to redefine her artistry through this collaborative band format — one that promises intensity, authenticity, and a fresh edge within Korea’s evolving rock scene.
ChRocktikal plans to continue engaging audiences through its official SNS channels as preparations for future releases move forward.
