TVXQ’s Changmin has once again shown the power of kindness, making a heartfelt donation to help children receive essential medical care during the holiday season.

On December 24, Samsung Seoul Hospital announced that Changmin donated ₩50 million (approximately $38,000 USD) to support the treatment and rehabilitation of children and adolescents from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

A Christmas Gift Focused on Hope and Healing

The donation was made in celebration of Christmas, with the aim of easing the financial burden on families and allowing young patients to focus fully on recovery.

“Christmas should be filled with children’s laughter,” Changmin shared in a statement. “I wanted to send encouragement to children who are bravely fighting illness during this time.”

He added that he hopes the contribution will help the children regain their health as soon as possible and return to the world with bright smiles, free to dream about their futures.

A Long-Standing Commitment to Giving Back

This is far from Changmin’s first act of generosity. He is an active member of the Green Noble Club, a high-level donor group under ChildFund Korea, and has consistently supported causes related to children’s welfare. His past donations include aid for children affected by the Pohang earthquake and support for families impacted by severe flooding.

Through steady and meaningful contributions, Changmin continues to use his influence not just as a global artist, but as a role model for social responsibility.

As fans around the world celebrate the holiday season, his latest donation stands as a reminder that even beyond the stage, compassion can make a lasting difference.
