EXO’s Sehun is set to take part in a major global sports event as he joins the opening ceremony of the highly anticipated Hyundai Card Super Match 14, featuring a showdown between world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz and world No.2 Jannik Sinner.
According to event organizer SEM Sports Marketing, the match will take place on January 10 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, marking a rare, one-time encounter between the two top-ranked tennis stars on Korean soil.

Sehun will officially open the match by performing the coin toss ceremony, a symbolic procedure held before tennis matches to determine service and court selection. The role is traditionally reserved for notable figures and is often used to heighten anticipation ahead of major international events.
Organizers shared that Sehun’s participation is expected to elevate excitement from the very start of the match, adding star power to an already historic sporting moment. The EXO member is known to have a strong interest in sports, including tennis, making his involvement especially fitting.
The Hyundai Card Super Match series has previously brought world-class athletes to Korea, but this edition stands out as it features the current top two players in men’s tennis facing off in a single exhibition match, drawing attention from fans worldwide.
With K-pop and global sports intersecting on one stage, anticipation is building for what promises to be an unforgettable night for both tennis and entertainment fans.
