The future of NewJeans has entered a new phase as agency ADOR confirmed that member Hanni will continue activities with the company, while Danielle has been notified of the termination of her exclusive contract.
On December 29, ADOR released an official statement outlining the current status of discussions with the group’s members following a finalized court ruling related to contract validity.

Hanni Confirms Return After Talks With Agency
According to ADOR, Hanni recently visited Korea with her family and held extended, in-depth discussions with the company. ADOR stated that during these conversations, both sides revisited past events and reviewed the situation from a more objective perspective.
Following what the agency described as sincere dialogue, ADOR said Hanni decided to respect the court’s ruling and continue her activities with the company.
With this decision, Hanni joins Haerin and Hyein, who are also continuing team activities under ADOR.

Discussions With Minji Ongoing
ADOR also addressed the status of Minji, stating that conversations with her are still ongoing. The company explained that both sides are continuing discussions in an effort to expand mutual understanding, but no final decision has been announced at this time.
Contract Termination Notice Issued to Danielle
In contrast, ADOR announced that it had determined continued activities with Danielle were no longer possible. The agency confirmed that it formally issued a notice of termination of her exclusive contract on December 29.
ADOR stated that it believes responsibility for the dispute and delays in the group’s activities lies primarily with Danielle’s side. The company also said it plans to pursue legal responsibility against one member of Danielle’s family and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, whom it claims played a significant role in the situation.
These statements reflect ADOR’s position and are part of an ongoing legal and contractual process.

ADOR Addresses Broader Dispute
ADOR further stated that during discussions with the members, it became clear that misunderstandings had accumulated over time. According to the agency, the members had been exposed to what it described as distorted or one-sided information, which contributed to mistrust and escalation of the dispute.
The company said both ADOR and the artists agreed that restoring trust with fans and the public would require time, as well as a careful process based on verified facts. ADOR added that it plans to address various controversies that emerged during the dispute at a later date, after determining the appropriate timing and format.
Group Activities Remain Uncertain
With Danielle’s departure and Minji’s status still under discussion, ADOR acknowledged that full group activities are currently difficult. Nevertheless, the company emphasized its intention to resolve the matter as smoothly as possible and expressed hope that NewJeans can return to fans under stable conditions.
As of now, no separate public statements have been released by Danielle or her representatives. The situation remains ongoing, and further updates are expected.
