The group officially returns on December 29 at 6 p.m. KST, unveiling an album that transforms the emotions of post-adolescence into a vibrant “girls’ night party” concept. After steadily building their musical identity with each release, SAY MY NAME now presents a record that celebrates freedom, self-assurance, and embracing one’s own vibe without definition.
A Title Track That Demands Attention
The EP’s title track, ‘UFO (ATTENT!ON)’, draws inspiration from the shock and excitement of spotting something impossible like seeing a UFO and being unable to look away. Built on a pop-punk band sound, the track blends energetic guitar riffs with bold vocal chants, creating an instantly addictive hook that reflects the group’s growing confidence.
The subtitle ‘ATTENT!ON’ cleverly replaces the letter “I” with an exclamation point, symbolizing the message that while others may initially view you with curiosity or doubt, you’ll ultimately leave a lasting, undeniable impression. Members Hitomi, Kani, and Dohee took part in writing the lyrics, reinforcing the song’s core message: it’s okay to be exactly who you want to be.
