ENHYPEN and their agency BELIFT LAB have taken decisive legal action against privacy violations and malicious behavior, sending a clear message of zero tolerance toward sasaeng activity. On December 29, BELIFT LAB shared an official update via the fan community platform Weverse, outlining the current status of legal proceedings related to stalking, trespassing, and malicious online posts targeting the group.

Stalking and Trespassing Cases Result in Legal Consequences
According to the statement, one stalking case involved an individual who hired a driver to follow ENHYPEN to their company building and residence. Investigative authorities recognized the act as stalking, and prosecutors issued prosecutorial suspension to both the offender and the driver involved.
In a separate and more severe incident, individuals unlawfully entered ENHYPEN’s residence and fled the scene. After investigation, the court found them guilty of joint residential trespassing under the Act on the Punishment of Violent Crimes, resulting in confirmed fines.
Ongoing Action Against Malicious Posts and Offline Misconduct
BELIFT LAB also addressed malicious online activity, stating that several individuals previously reported for defamation and harassment have received summary indictments. Additional complaints have been filed this quarter following continued monitoring of domestic and international online communities. The agency further revealed that participants who verbally abused or threatened the members during recent fan events were immediately removed from participation and permanently restricted from future activities.
“No Exceptions, No Leniency”
BELIFT LAB emphasized that age, nationality, or student status will not exempt offenders from legal responsibility, adding that all violations are being handled with consistency and seriousness. The agency concluded by reaffirming its commitment to protecting ENHYPEN’s safety and rights, promising continued cooperation with investigative authorities and encouraging fans to report any harmful activity.
As ENHYPEN continues its global activities, the agency’s firm stance marks a significant step in reinforcing artist protection within the K-pop industry.
Editor’s Insight
The recent update from BELIFT LAB on their legal proceedings marks a critical turning point in how K-pop agencies handle the “sasaeng” problem. By securing actual fines for residential trespassing and prosecutorial suspensions for hired “stalker taxis,” the agency is proving that these aren’t just fan etiquette violations—they are criminal acts with real-world consequences.
