GOT7 member Youngjae has once again touched hearts with a meaningful act of generosity, offering support to abandoned animals during the cold winter season.
Youngjae recently donated ₩30 million to Korean Dogs Rainbow Shelter, a facility dedicated to rescuing and caring for abandoned dogs in South Korea. The donation was made in the name of his beloved pet dog, Coco, who passed away earlier this year, adding a deeply personal meaning to the contribution.

Giving Goes Beyond Financial Support
What has drawn particular attention is that Youngjae’s involvement does not stop at financial aid. Despite his busy schedule, he has consistently visited animal shelters in person, helping care for rescued dogs and even taking part in cleaning and maintenance work. His actions reflect a hands-on commitment to animal welfare rather than a one-time donation.
The funds will be used to improve aging facilities at the shelter and create a healthier, more comfortable environment for dogs recovering from neglect. The goal is to help the animals regain their strength and prepare for adoption into permanent homes.

A Message of Warmth During a Cold Season
Youngjae’s donation arrives at a critical time, as winter often poses serious challenges for shelters operating with limited resources. His contribution is expected to play a key role in improving living conditions for the dogs and supporting long-term care efforts.
Currently serving as a public service worker, Youngjae continues to fulfill his national duty while quietly carrying out acts of kindness behind the scenes. Fans have praised his consistent compassion, expressing anticipation for his return to the spotlight after completing his service.
Through this gesture, Youngjae once again demonstrated that his influence extends beyond music, offering warmth and protection to those who cannot speak for themselves.
