A Teaser That Says More Than It Shows

On January 1, Mnet Plus uploaded a short video to its official YouTube channel titled “2026 Coming Soon, Let’s Meet Again.” The clip features a single figure playing a cassette tape emblazoned with the Wanna One logo. As the tape spins, a familiar line fills the air: “Let’s meet again.”

The phrase is a key lyric from Spring Breeze, one of Wanna One’s most beloved tracks. The song is widely remembered for its emotional message about destiny, separation, and the hope of reunion—making its sudden reappearance especially meaningful.

Lyrics That Carry History

“Spring Breeze” includes the iconic line, “Let’s meet again, when the spring breeze passes.” Since its release, the song has symbolized both the members’ and fans’ shared wish to reunite someday, just like the moment they first met. By centering the teaser around this lyric, the video immediately sparked theories of a full-group comeback or special project.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Hwang Min-hyun shared the same video on his personal social media account, leading many fans to believe the teaser is more than a simple nostalgia-driven release.

“We Go Again” — A Strong Final Message

The video concludes with the words “Let’s meet again” followed by “We Go Again,” a phrase that suggests continuity rather than a one-off tribute. The ambiguity has only intensified curiosity about what kind of project might be in the works—whether a reunion stage, a commemorative release, or something even bigger.

Remembering Wanna One’s Legacy

Wanna One was formed in 2017 through Produce 101 Season 2 and quickly became one of the most successful project groups in K-pop history. The 11-member lineup—Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-woon—officially concluded group activities in 2019.

However, their influence has endured. In 2021, the members reunited for a special performance at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, reminding fans of their lasting chemistry and collective impact.

Fans Await What 2026 Will Bring

With the words “2026 Coming Soon” now out in the open, anticipation continues to build. While no official confirmation has been made, the teaser’s symbolism, combined with member participation, has many believing that Wanna One’s story may not be over just yet.

For now, fans are watching closely holding onto the same hope echoed in the lyrics that started it all: Let’s meet again.
