Yuna of ITZY is officially preparing to step out as a solo artist this March.
According to industry sources on January 6, Yuna is set to release her first solo album in March, marking her official solo debut. This will make her the second ITZY member to debut solo, following Yeji, who released her solo album AIR in March last year.
A New Chapter Beyond ITZY
Yuna’s upcoming solo album is expected to showcase a broader range of her artistic identity, highlighting sides of her that have not been fully explored through group activities. Known for her clear, refreshing vocals as well as her distinctive rap tone, Yuna is set to present a more layered musical color through this release.
The album is currently in active production, with Yuna recently beginning music video filming. Fans can expect visuals and performances that reflect her individuality, along with a series of promotional activities planned around the release.
Following Yeji’s Successful Solo Path
Yeji’s solo debut last year received strong critical attention, with her title track “Air” being selected by British magazine Dazed as one of the “30 Best K-pop Tracks of 2025.” Yuna’s solo debut follows this momentum, raising anticipation for how she will define her own sound and presence as an independent artist.
