Actress Lee Min‑jung shared an unexpectedly relatable parenting moment, revealing that she now pays close attention to her drinking habits around her young daughter.
On the January 4 episode of JTBC’s variety show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, Lee Min-jung appeared as a guest alongside actor Yoo Ji-tae to promote the Tving drama Villains. During the episode, she spoke openly about changes in her daily life after her daughter, now 25 months old, began talking.
Lee Min-jung explained that her daughter has become observant enough to recognize objects around the house, including alcohol bottles. She recalled feeling embarrassed when her daughter pointed at a wine bottle and said it belonged to her. Since then, she admitted to being more cautious, sometimes choosing drinks that look like milk so her daughter will not notice.

Cooking, Family Life, and Everyday Adjustments
During the show, Lee Min-jung also talked about her daily routine as a mother of two and the realities of cooking at home. While she is known for her cooking skills through her home-cooking content, she confessed that preparing meals every day can feel overwhelming.
She shared that cooking for one child versus two is a completely different experience, adding that time management becomes crucial when juggling household tasks. Despite never having formal culinary training, she described herself as efficient in the kitchen, often relying on ingredients already available at home.

A Lighthearted Look at Marriage and Eating Habits
Lee Min-jung also revisited a familiar story about her husband Lee Byung‑hun and his fast eating habits. She revealed that early in their marriage, she once cried because he finished his meal before she even took her first bite. Over time, she said, both of them adjusted, meeting somewhere in the middle.
When asked about drinking together, she joked that while meals tend to be short, conversations last much longer when alcohol is involved.
Honest Parenting Moments
The actress emphasized that becoming a parent has naturally led her to give up or adjust certain personal preferences for the sake of her family. From changing what she cooks to being mindful of what her children observe, she described these moments as small but meaningful parts of family life.
Lee Min-jung’s candid remarks offered viewers a glimpse into the everyday realities behind celebrity life, showing that parenting concerns and small embarrassments are universal, regardless of fame.
