tvN’s Monday–Tuesday drama ‘Spring Fever’ is set to heighten both tension and chemistry as Ahn Bohyun and Lee Joobin find themselves unexpectedly traveling to Seoul together in Episode 2.
Airing on January 6, the second episode of ‘Spring Fever’ follows Seon Jaegyu (Ahn Bohyun) and Yoon Bom (Lee Joobin) as they are drawn into an unforeseen incident that pushes their relationship into a new phase. What begins as an unlikely connection in the quiet town of Sinsueup quickly escalates into a fast paced journey filled with urgency, emotion, and surprises.

rom Quiet Town to Sudden Collision
In Episode 1, viewers were introduced to two contrasting characters: Jaegyu, an impulsive and fiercely direct man, and Yoon Bom, a high school teacher who has chosen a life of emotional distance as a self-declared outsider. Their paths crossed through a complicated connection as a student’s uncle and homeroom teacher, disrupting Yoon Bom’s frozen, monotonous routine.
Jaegyu’s fiery presence brought unexpected warmth and chaos into her life, setting the tone for a romance that blends humor, sincerity, and raw energy. The drama’s opening episode established a dynamic that feels both volatile and oddly comforting, drawing viewers into its unique emotional rhythm.
A Tense Reunion and a Trip to Seoul
New stills released ahead of Episode 2 hint at a pivotal development. Jaegyu appears once again with his trademark “straightforward alpha” energy, while Yoon Bom is seen staring at him, visibly shaken as if caught off guard by his intensity or the situation unfolding before them.
The episode takes a sharp turn when the two suddenly head to Seoul together, a move that immediately raises questions. In one scene, Jaegyu is shown leaping over subway gates in a rush, while Yoon Bom waits anxiously on the platform, scanning the crowd as if searching for someone. That someone turns out to be Choi Sejin (played by Lee Jaein), Yoon Bom’s student, who appears with her backpack on suggesting that her disappearance or sudden move may be at the center of the chaos pulling the leads into the city.

A Hero Who Solves Problems His Own Way
Episode 2 is expected to showcase Jaegyu’s defining trait: his tendency to tackle obstacles head-on, often through unconventional and unpredictable methods. According to previews, even in the face of difficult challenges, he finds surprisingly creative ways to break through setting the stage for moments that are both thrilling and charming.
Director Park Wonguk previously teased the episode, saying, “The ending of Episode 2 contains everything this drama is about and everything Ahn Bohyun is about. Please watch how Jaegyu’s unique actions make viewers laugh and feel their hearts race.”
Anticipation Builds
With its blend of small-town warmth, sudden urban tension, and emotionally charged character interactions, ‘Spring Fever’ continues to build momentum. Episode 2 promises not only narrative acceleration, but also defining moments that clarify why these two seemingly opposite people can’t help but keep colliding. As Yoon Bom and Jaegyu’s journey takes them beyond Sinsueup and into Seoul, viewers are left with one question: is this trip about finding a missing student or about finding something neither of them expected?
‘Spring Fever’ Episode 2 airs January 6 on tvN.
