SBS is set to launch a bold new fantasy romance with No Tail to Tell, starring Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon. The drama flips the classic gumiho myth on its head, pairing a Gen Z–coded nine-tailed fox who refuses to become human with a self-loving human whose perfect life gets unexpectedly disrupted.
A Gumiho Who Rejects the “Human Ending”
At the heart of No Tail to Tell is Eun-ho (Kim Hye-yoon), a gumiho who has survived for over 900 years by carefully avoiding the very acts that could turn her human. In this reimagined world, becoming human isn’t the goal—it’s the risk. Though mythical, Eun-ho’s outlook mirrors modern youth: confident, witty, and determined to live on her own terms.
Kim Hye-yoon shared that the concept of an “MZ gumiho” immediately stood out, promising a character that feels contemporary while rooted in fantasy.
Lomon’s World-Class Athlete With Too Much Self-Love
Opposite Eun-ho is Kang Si-yeol (Lomon), a globally successful football star whose confidence borders on narcissism. He’s disciplined and driven, but his flawless routine starts to crack when Eun-ho enters his life. Their constant bickering slowly gives way to curiosity, then connection—setting the stage for an enemies-to-fate romance.
Lomon described the series as light and funny on the surface, yet emotionally layered, as both characters gradually heal each other’s loneliness.

The newly revealed main poster, styled like a traditional East Asian painting, spotlights the pair’s striking chemistry. Eun-ho’s flowing fox tails and glowing purple fox bead tease her supernatural identity, while the confident tagline suggests her irresistible charm.
