AlphaDriveOne member Arno has been diagnosed with a fracture just days ahead of the group’s official debut, prompting adjustments to his participation in upcoming album activities.
On January 12, agency WAKEONE released an official statement addressing Arno’s condition, explaining that he sustained the injury after slipping on stairs while returning from a scheduled activity earlier this month.
Medical Diagnosis and Immediate Measures
Following the incident, Arno visited a hospital and underwent a detailed medical examination. Doctors diagnosed him with a fracture and advised that he refrain from choreography and physically demanding movements for the time being to prevent further injury and ensure proper recovery.
WAKEONE acknowledged the unfortunate timing of the situation, noting that both the artist and the company were disappointed to face an injury so close to AlphaDriveOne’s long awaited debut. The agency stressed that Arno’s health and safety remain the highest priority. “We deeply regret encountering this situation at such a critical moment,” the agency said, adding that it is approaching the matter with a strong sense of responsibility toward the artist.
Flexible Participation in Debut Promotions
After discussions with Arno, WAKEONE confirmed that he will participate flexibly in activities related to AlphaDriveOne’s debut mini album ‘EUPHORIA,’ excluding performance-based schedules that involve choreography.
Non performance appearances, such as select promotional content or fan facing activities, will be determined based on Arno’s condition at the time. The agency emphasized that all decisions will be made in close consultation with medical professionals and the artist himself. Further updates regarding his recovery progress and future participation will be shared once his condition is reassessed.
Apology and Message to Fans
The agency also addressed fans directly, apologizing for the sudden news and any concern it may have caused particularly given the long anticipation surrounding AlphaDriveOne’s debut.
WAKEONE asked for understanding and support, stating that it will provide Arno with an environment where he can focus fully on treatment and recovery. “We will do our utmost to support Arno so that he can return to the stage in good health,” the agency said.
