Actors Park Min-young and Wi Ha-joon have officially confirmed their roles in tvN’s upcoming Monday–Tuesday drama ‘Siren’ setting the stage for a tense romance thriller built on suspicion, desire, and deadly secrets.
On January 13, tvN announced the casting of Park and Wi for ‘Siren’ a new series created by Jo Hyun-kyung, written by Lee Young, and directed by Kim Cheol-kyu. The drama is scheduled to premiere on March 2 at 8:50 p.m. KST.

A Romance Thriller Rooted in Mystery and Obsession
‘Siren’ follows a man investigating a string of suspicious deaths connected to an alleged insurance fraud scheme. At the center of the case is a woman whose lovers have all died after falling for her drawing the investigator into a dangerous emotional and psychological maze. The drama’s title references the mythological siren, whose irresistible song lures sailors to their deaths, hinting at the seductive and fatal tension that defines the story.
Park Min-young as a Woman Surrounded by Death
Park Min-young stars as Han Seol-ah, a brilliant art auctioneer with striking beauty and undeniable charisma. She serves as the head of the auction team at Royal Auction, Korea’s leading art auction house, projecting an image of flawless professionalism and elegance.
Beneath that polished exterior, however, lies a chilling secret: every man who has loved her has died. Whether coincidence, manipulation, or something more sinister remains unclear, making Han Seol-ah the prime suspect in a growing investigation. The role marks another dramatic transformation for Park, who is expected to explore a darker, more ambiguous emotional landscape than in her previous romantic roles.
Wi Ha-joon as an Investigator Torn Between Logic and Desire
Opposite her, Wi Ha-joon plays Cha Woo-seok, a top investigator in the Insurance Fraud Investigation Unit (SIU). Known for his sharp instincts and unmatched arrest record, Cha Woo-seok has built his career on exposing people who profit from human life.
His world begins to unravel when he receives a crucial tip that leads him to Han Seol-ah. As suspicion deepens, his pursuit of truth becomes entangled with emotional conflict, forcing him to confront whether his growing attraction is clouding his judgment.
Anticipated Chemistry and tvN Synergy
The pairing of Park Min-young fresh off the success of ‘Marry My Husband’ and Wi Ha-joon, who recently expanded his romantic image through ‘Graduation,’ has drawn early attention. Their anticipated chemistry is expected to heighten the drama’s suspense, balancing romance with psychological tension.
