Celebrating their 15th anniversary, Apink has added another milestone to their legacy, taking home their first music show trophy with their latest comeback and reaffirming their status as one of K-pop’s most enduring girl groups.

On January 15, Apink (Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo, and Oh Ha-young) claimed first place on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ with the title track ‘Love Me More’ from their 11th mini album ‘RE: LOVE’. The win marks the group’s first music show victory since their return, a rare and meaningful achievement for a team now entering its 16th year since debut.

A Win Built on Time and Trust

Upon receiving the trophy, the members expressed heartfelt gratitude. “We’re deeply thankful to our company staff and everyone who worked hard on this album,” they said, also dedicating the win to their families and longtime fans, Pandas. “Being able to receive an award in our 16th year makes this moment even more precious. We’ll continue to work hard and show you better sides of ourselves.” The emotional weight of the win resonated strongly with fans, as Apink stands among the few girl groups to remain active and competitive well beyond the typical idol lifecycle.

A Stage That Showed Why They’ve Lasted

On stage, Apink delivered a polished and confident performance of ‘Love Me More’, blending their signature warmth with a refreshed, modern edge. Dressed in hip yet refined styling, the group showcased synchronized choreography, expressive dance lines, and most notably stable live vocals, underscoring the experience that comes with longevity. Rather than relying on nostalgia alone, Apink’s performance highlighted evolution: a group comfortable with its identity while still adapting to current trends.

‘RE: LOVE,’ A Reflection on 15 Years

The mini album ‘RE: LOVE’ serves as a reflective project, capturing themes of love, healing, and self realization that Apink has discovered over the past 15 years. Built around well-crafted tracks across multiple genres, the album looks both backward and forward honoring their journey while embracing maturity. Commercially, the album has shown strong results, charting on iTunes Top Albums in 19 regions and entering Apple Music charts in 13 regions, signaling sustained global interest.

The title track ‘Love Me More’, inspired by analog synth sounds reminiscent of the 1990s, has continued to gain traction across domestic and international music platforms. Apink has also extended promotions through dance challenges with fellow artists, maintaining visibility across social media.

What’s Next

Apink will continue their anniversary celebrations with their 8th solo concert, ‘The Origin: APINK,’ set for February 21–22 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul.
