POW is steadily building anticipation for its upcoming comeback, unveiling a series of concept photos that frame the group’s new release through a soft yet expressive winter narrative.

Ahead of their January 28 return, POW Yochi, Hyunbin, Jeongbin, Dongyeon, and Hong has been releasing concept photos under the theme ‘Imaginary Scenario’ from January 16 through January 20. Fur Styling Sets the Tone for a Winter Narrative

The first concept photos, released on January 16, immediately established the comeback’s atmosphere. Dressed in white, fur-accented outfits, the members presented a calm and refined winter look that emphasized clean lines and subtle textures. The monochrome styling, paired with their sharp features, created imagery reminiscent of a high-end winter editorial, balancing softness with quiet intensity. Rather than relying on dramatic poses, the photos leaned into restraint, highlighting mood and expression. The result was a polished introduction that suggested emotional depth beneath the minimalist aesthetic.

From Playful Energy to Cozy Warmth

The second set of concept photos, released on January 19, shifted the mood entirely. Incorporating white and blue tones, the images captured the members enjoying winter sports, revealing a more playful and dynamic side of POW. Movement replaced stillness, and the visuals emphasized natural interaction and team chemistry, reinforcing the group’s youthful, refreshing image.

On January 20, the final concept photos completed the trilogy with a softer, more intimate approach. Clad in pastel-toned outfits, the members appeared relaxed in a cozy setting, offering warmth and comfort in contrast to the crisp visuals of earlier releases. The progression across the three concepts painted a fuller emotional arc, rather than a single static image.

‘Imaginary Scenario’ as a Storytelling Device

Under the shared theme of ‘Imaginary Scenario,’ the concept photos depict different moments of winter as if drawn from an unfolding story. The approach hints at a broader narrative embedded in the upcoming album, encouraging fans to consider how visuals, emotion, and music will connect once the full release is unveiled.

A Message of Courage and New Beginnings

POW’s upcoming single album ‘COME TRUE,’ set for release on January 28, centers on the emotions tied to new beginnings. The album conveys messages of excitement, hesitation, and quiet loneliness that often accompany moments of change, offering reassurance and encouragement to those standing at the threshold of growth.

The title track ‘COME TRUE’ samples m-flo’s 2001 hit ‘Come Again,’ with m-flo member and renowned producer Taku Takahashi directly participating in the production. His involvement has further raised expectations for the track’s sound and emotional resonance.
