G-Dragon will once again take part in France’s prestigious charity concert “Yellow Coins Collection”, becoming the only Korean artist to appear at the event for two consecutive years.
Galaxy Corporation confirmed that the singer was personally invited by Brigitte Macron, First Lady of France, to perform at this year’s event, which will take place on January 22 at Paris La Défense Arena.
A Longstanding Charity Supporting Children’s Hospitals
The “Yellow Coins Collection” campaign, officially known as Opération Pièces Jaunes, has been held annually since 1989 by the French Hospital Foundation. The charity raises funds to support children’s hospitals and youth mental health programs across France.
Brigitte Macron serves as the chairwoman of the foundation, and G-Dragon’s continued participation reflects his strong alignment with the campaign’s mission.

Returning After Strong Reception Last Year
G-Dragon previously joined the event last year as a representative Korean artist, receiving positive reactions from both French audiences and media outlets.
His return this year further highlights his growing global influence. The artist also filled the same arena during his 2025 world tour concert in Paris, drawing approximately 29,000 fans to the venue.
Global Stars Join the Charity Lineup
This year’s charity concert will feature a diverse lineup of international stars, including Stray Kids, Christina Aguilera, Mika, and A$AP Rocky.
Stray Kids will also return for their second appearance at the event following their participation in 2024. Renowned classical musicians such as cellist Gautier Capuçon and pianist Khatia Buniatishvili are also scheduled to perform.
Broadcast Plans and Upcoming Fan Meetings
The full concert will be broadcast on January 30 through France’s national television channel France 2, allowing viewers across the country to experience the charity performance.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon is preparing to meet fans in Korea with his first solo fan meeting, scheduled to take place from February 6 to 8 at KSPO DOME in Seoul.
