BTS member Jin has drawn attention after his personal views on dating were revealed, highlighting his strong sense of loyalty toward fans.
The story surfaced through a recent video on webtoon artist Kian84’s YouTube channel, where singer Chuu appeared as a guest and discussed marriage and relationships. During the conversation, Kian84 mentioned Jin’s candid attitude toward dating, even off camera.
According to Kian84, Jin once said, “I shouldn’t date. It’s not loyal to my fans.” Even when told that many celebrities quietly date in private, Jin reportedly stood firm, responding that it was still not right.

Chuu echoed similar sentiments, joking that she would wait until her fans were married before settling down herself, expressing her desire to remain considerate toward those who support her.
Jin’s comments quickly sparked widespread praise among K-pop fans, with many applauding his sincerity and devotion. His remarks also reignited discussion around idol dating culture, especially following past controversies involving rumored relationships in the industry.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing for their long-awaited full-group comeback on March 20. The group will release their fifth full album Arirang and launch a massive world tour spanning 79 concerts worldwide.
