On January 26, the group released Episode 1, ‘Prima Contacta Shhh’, through its official social media channels. The episode marks the opening installment of ‘Guess the Next Era,’ a drama style content series designed to foreshadow the narrative and themes of KISS OF LIFE’s next album.
A Story That Blends Fear, Creation, and Identity
The newly revealed episode introduces a mysterious storyline centered on slime kits, which the members use to create beings that mirror their inner selves. The concept explores themes of fear, self confrontation, and transformation key motifs that appear to anchor the group’s evolving worldview. Member Julie takes the lead in the first episode. Set inside a counseling room, the episode unfolds as a tense psychological exchange, with actress Han Ye-ri appearing as a pivotal figure. Julie portrays a character grappling with uncertainty and emotional conflict as she comes face to face with an unidentified slime kit.
Through restrained dialogue and expressive acting, Julie conveys anxiety about stepping into an unknown world. After moments of hesitation and introspection, she ultimately creates the slime ending the episode with a lingering, intense gaze that heightens suspense and curiosity about what lies ahead.
