SEVENTEEN’s powerhouse vocalists DK and Seungkwan are heading to one of Korea’s most respected music festivals for the first time.
The duo will perform on the opening day of the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026, which takes place from May 22 to 24 at Olympic Park in Seoul. Known for its focus on live performance and genre diversity, the festival marks a new milestone for the pair as they step onto a stage long associated with musicianship and vocal artistry.
A K-pop vocal unit on a live festival stage
Since its launch in 2007, the Seoul Jazz Festival has established itself as one of Korea’s signature music events, bringing together artists from jazz, pop, indie rock and beyond.
DK and Seungkwan’s appearance signals their expansion beyond the traditional K-pop concert format into a setting where live vocals and musical interpretation take center stage. Expectations are high for a performance that highlights the emotional depth and technical strength that earned them the nickname “main vocal duo.”

Solo unit concert tour begins in April
Before their festival debut, the two will meet fans through DxS [Soya-gok] ON STAGE – INCHEON, scheduled for April 17 to 19 at Inspire Arena.
The concert will bring the storytelling of their first mini album Soya-gok to life through a full live band setting. After Incheon, the tour will continue across Chiba, Daegu, Macau and Kaohsiung, expanding the unit’s global reach.
Chart-topping success with “Blue”
The duo’s title track Blue made an immediate impact upon release, topping major domestic and international charts and redefining the commercial potential of a traditional ballad in the current K-pop landscape.
The song reached No.1 on Korea’s YouTube Music trending chart and also led Spotify’s daily viral rankings in Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia an unusual achievement for a vocal-focused release.
Live performances strengthen their reputation
Their recent appearances on platforms such as Dingo Music’s Killing Voice–style content and 1theK’s live sessions have gone viral among fans for their flawless vocals, reinforcing their identity as one of the strongest live units in K-pop.
Next month, they will take on a new challenge by performing a library busking stage on JTBC’s Begin Again Open Mic, further emphasizing their commitment to live music.
A new phase for SEVENTEEN’s vocal line
With a dedicated concert tour and a major festival debut ahead, DK and Seungkwan are entering a phase that positions them not only as idol vocalists but as live performance artists.
Their upcoming appearance at the Seoul Jazz Festival is expected to showcase a different side of SEVENTEEN one centered entirely on voice, emotion and musicianship.
