The upcoming SBS drama Sold Out Again Today shared photos from its script reading session on March 10, giving viewers an early look at the chemistry between the lead actors ahead of its premiere next month.
Ahn Hyo-seop takes on a new character
In the series, Ahn Hyo-seop plays Matthew Lee, a meticulous young farmer known by the nickname “Quail.” Despite his sharp and slightly blunt way of speaking, the character hides a warm and caring personality beneath the surface.
During the script reading, Ahn reportedly captured the character’s unique charm by balancing Matthew’s sarcastic tone with subtle emotional warmth, immediately drawing attention to his performance.
A romantic comedy set in an unexpected world
Sold Out Again Today tells the story of the unexpected romance between a perfectionist farmer and a passionate home shopping host.
The drama follows Matthew Lee as he crosses paths with Dam Ye-jin, a charismatic show host who has achieved an astonishing ₩1 trillion in cumulative sales. Their clashing personalities are expected to create plenty of humorous and heart-fluttering moments throughout the story.
Actress Chae Won-bin plays Dam Ye-jin, impressing the production team during the reading with her confident voice and expressive gestures that reflect the bold personality of a top sales host.
