Even Seo Kang-joon, playing the man being wavered on, made the generous choice to sell his rival. “It seems like Tae-seung fills the deficiencies or flaws that Namgung can’t fill for Mi-do, with a different kind of charm,” he said. “When I looked at Tae-seung, I found him fatal and sexy a character who slips into the familiarity and boredom between Namgung and Mi-do.” When your leading man is openly calling the other guy “fatal and sexy,” you know the show is committed to making the triangle genuinely unresolved.
