The date is not final, but JYP has confirmed the plan, and Nayeon returns with a US chart record already on her résumé.
TWICE’s Nayeon is preparing a solo album for late November, her agency JYP Entertainment confirmed on Oct. 21. The Korea Herald first reported the plan, citing an industry source who put the release in the third week of the month. It would be her first solo album since the mini album “Na” in June 2024.
The date is not locked. The source told the Korea Herald that idol schedules change often, and JYP said only that Nayeon is preparing for a comeback with late November as the target. The title track and tracklist have not been announced.
What JYP has and has not confirmed
JYP Entertainment told the Korea Herald that Nayeon is preparing a solo comeback with the late-November window in mind, and the exact release date is still being finalized. Soompi relayed the same statement, and Allkpop reported it alongside the industry source’s comment about the third week of November.
That leaves several details open: the album’s title, its lead single, its format and the date. Until JYP announces a schedule, the November window should be read as a target rather than a release date.
Two Billboard 200 debuts at No. 7
Nayeon’s solo history gives this comeback a clear benchmark. Her debut mini album “Im Nayeon,” released in June 2022 and led by the single “Pop!,” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, according to the Korea Herald and Allkpop. She was the first TWICE member to launch a solo career.
Her second mini album, “Na,” arrived in June 2024 with the lead single “ABCD” and landed at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 dated June 29, the Korea Herald reported, citing Billboard. The chart ranks albums in the United States by equivalent album units, as measured by Luminate. The result made Nayeon the first female K-pop soloist to place two albums in the chart’s top 10, according to the Korea Herald and Soompi.

How “Na” performed beyond the debut week
Soompi reported that “Na” spent a second consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 101, which made Nayeon the first female K-pop soloist to chart multiple weeks with more than one album. In the same week, the mini album placed No. 2 on the World Albums chart and No. 8 on Top Current Album Sales, Soompi said.
The title track did well on song charts, too. The Korea Herald said “ABCD” reached No. 4 on YouTube Music’s Global Weekly Top Songs dated June 20, 2024. Soompi added that the song stood at No. 8 on World Digital Song Sales, No. 55 on Global Excl. U.S. and No. 107 on the Global 200, and that Nayeon held No. 44 on Billboard’s Artist 100.
The gap between solo albums
The wait is the other thing to note. Between “Na” and the new project, Nayeon released one single: “Love Is Enough,” a soundtrack track for the Korean drama “Sold Out on You” in May 2026, the Korea Herald reported. Soompi described the gap as about two years and five months, and the Korea Herald as nearly two and a half years.

For a US audience, that interval is the context. Both Billboard 200 top-10 debuts came from releases two years apart, so the next album will show how a longer pause affects her first-week numbers. Neither JYP nor the outlets that covered the announcement have said what chart target, if any, the label has in mind. The comparison is our own, drawn from the published chart positions rather than from any statement by the agency.
What comes next
Nayeon’s return lands during a busy stretch of TWICE news. Our recent reporting covered her collaboration with Brazilian DJ Alok and Jihyo’s new chapter after she launched her own agency.
Editor’s Note: The release window comes from a single anonymous source and JYP’s confirmation that it is the target. A confirmed date, title track and tracklist are expected to follow in the coming weeks, and we will update this report when they arrive.
